VAQ is a leading Norwegian supplier of land-based fish farms. We specialize in resource-saving RAS plants with the best water quality for fish to thrive.

We participate in all phases of projects, from preliminary studies to completed and commissioned facilities.

A quality home for fish and people alike

The world increasingly needs healthy food produced in a sustainable way. Producing fish on land is part of the solution. The aquaculture industry faces challenges related to the environment, biosecurity and fish welfare. Prolonged production in land-based facilities with top water quality where fish thrive provide good welfare and growth. This also allows for better control of emissions and environmental impact. VAQ is the fish farmer's best partner to succeed in this.

Our team has experience from the very beginning of the development of RAS in Norway, with total deliveries of a number of successful fish-farm facilities. We currently have over 50 employees with solid technical expertise working together to deliver the best solutions for our customers.

At VAQ we have three values: genuine, reliable and committed. Our culture is characterized by cooperation, quality awareness and professionalism. We go to great lengths to help our customers achieve their goals. Our passion and motivation drive us to create a quality home for fish and people alike.

Our vision is to create quality homes for fish and people alike. The well-being of the fish is our top priority, and we provide an environment where solution-oriented technicians can thrive. Expertise, quality, and flexibility make us a reliable choice.
